The Silver Corner was founded in 1897 in Haifa by the first Muqbel Muqbel.

He learned the Craft by the The Armenian jeweler Artin Elia in the Levant and perfected his work to the extent of professionalism and creativity. Then he decided to return to Haifa and set up his first shop which was a small corner in the Haifa market. He named his shop Silver Corner.

The shop traced the developments of the market in regard of introduction of models and beautiful technical designs, which made it famous in the field of Jewelery Making. Then Moqbel opened several branches within the country.
